Dr. Michael Walls is a double board-certified Physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He received his Residency and Fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the top-ranking hospitals in the nation. During his Fellowship, Dr. Walls had the honor as serving as their Chief Fellow, elected by the program’s chairman to be a leader to his peers and serve as an acting administrator to the program. Having also received his Anesthesiology training at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Walls has received multiple honors and recognition during his time in Cleveland.
Born and raised in Bellevue, a small town in Northern Kentucky, he received his undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky in 1999 and completed medical school at the University of Louisville in 2004. During his time at University of Kentucky, he was involved with lung cancer research and while in Louisville, was published in two articles for his research in Pediatric Cardiology.
Now having worked in the Greater Cincinnati area since 2009, he has over a decade’s worth of experience in the field. Dr. Walls has a particular interest in the treatment of patient’s comprehensive wellbeing leading to further training in Functional Medicine, Botox administration, IV infusion therapies, and ultrasound-guided therapies. This has led him to join the StrIVeMD team in an effort to make these services available to the Greater Cincinnati area community.
When not working, Dr. Walls enjoys his free time out hiking with his dog Cooper, playing guitar, and woodworking. He is an avid sports fan and follows his alma mater the Kentucky Wildcats along with the Bengals and Reds.
