About Gregory Gaskin II, MD
Gregory B Gaskin II MD is a board certified anesthesiologist with over a decade of experience in adult and adolescent anesthesia. He was born and raised in the Detroit area and obtained his bachelor of Science Degree at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He came back home to be near his parents for medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. After exploring the specialty of surgery for 3 years, he realized his home was with the field of anesthesiology. He completed residency training at The Cleveland Clinic, the #2 hospital in the nation, in 2008. He then moved to the growing Dallas suburb of Frisco that year with his wife Rachel, and they have two young children. He enjoys traveling and cheering for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Greg has a special interest in the mental health of front line workers and servicemen, as his father served as a police officer for the city of Detroit for 30 years and was frontline during the Detroit riots in 1968.
